GM eyes ChatGPT for future cars

Voice assistance is about to get a lot better

General Motors (GM) is always looking for ways to stay ahead of the curve, and this time they are taking their cars into the future with ChatGPT technology.

This is Katy Craig in San Diego, California.

This collaboration between GM and Microsoft will create a virtual personal assistant that can communicate with passengers in the car, providing them with information, entertainment, and assistance when needed. It’s an exciting development that could revolutionize how we interact within our vehicles.

ChatGPT will be able to respond conversationally like a human, giving drivers helpful advice on how best to handle certain situations while behind the wheel. It can even provide real-time updates about traffic conditions or road closures ahead of time so you’re never caught off guard when out for a drive. With this technology, GM hopes it can make roads safer by providing an extra layer of safety and security for its customers while they’re out on the open road.

This new development shows just how far we've come with AI technology and what amazing possibilities exist if we continue down this path in automotive advancement! We may soon have our own personal “Kit” from Knight Rider as our copilot when taking those long drives across state lines - now that's something worth getting excited about!

This is Katy Craig. Stay safe out there.
